Klixon® automatic motor thermal protectors (AM series) are compact, lightweight, and sensitive to both temperature and current. Their sealed steel housings withstand most impregnation and oven baking processes and can be mounted directly on the motor windings to rapidly detect temperature changes.
Steel coated with a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-E), combining the mechanical strength of steel with the flexibility, chemical resistance, and corrosion protection of the elastomer.
