STORM - light tower 270k lumen
Storm is an extreme-duty diesel light tower delivering 270,000 lumens with an 8.5 m hydraulic mast, long autonomy and reliable performance for mining and large-scale job sites.
Storm is the most powerful light tower in the Dewaterco portfolio designed for mining operations, large infrastructure projects and the most demanding working environments where maximum light output and long autonomy are essential.
Equipped with six 320 W LED floodlights, Storm delivers an exceptional 270,000 lumens, ensuring uniform illumination across very large areas. The 8.5 m galvanized hydraulic mast with 350° rotation allows precise light positioning and optimal coverage even in complex site layouts.
Powered by a Stage V diesel engine with a 5 kVA alternator, Storm combines high lighting performance with efficient fuel consumption, delivering up to 183 hours of runtime thanks to its 110 l fuel tank. The integrated control system ensures reliable operation and easy monitoring in continuous-duty applications.
Built to withstand harsh conditions, Storm operates reliably within an ambient temperature range from –30 °C to +50 °C and resists wind speeds of up to 110 km/h. With a reinforced road-tow trailer, advanced safety systems and heavy-duty stabilizers, Storm is the ideal solution for mining sites, remote locations and critical operations.

Typical use cases and environments where this product performs best
?
Light towers are used to provide reliable temporary lighting for construction sites, road works, industrial areas, events and emergency operations. They ensure safe and efficient work during night hours or in low-visibility conditions where permanent lighting is not available.
?
Yes, our light towers are designed with road-tow trailers and stabilizers that allow easy transport and quick repositioning. However, proper setup is essential: stabilizers must always be deployed, the mast must be fully lowered during transport and local regulations for towing and site safety must be respected to avoid damage or instability.
?
Modern diesel light towers are engineered for continuous operation in demanding environments. They are built to withstand wide temperature ranges, strong winds and intensive use while maintaining stable lighting performance and long autonomy, making them suitable for remote sites and extreme working conditions.
